Mr. Bradford A. Newbury
Bradford Newbury MPA, NRP is Captain/ Paramedic with over 36 years of experiences in firefighting and prehospital medicine. Brad also has an extensive background as an educator and as an innovative entrepreneur, where he serves as the President and CEO of National Medical Education & Training Center.
In 2010 Brad created a startup education company that has a global student base. His unique approach to prehospital emergency medical education offered the flexibility students with busy lives needed to be successful. Under his leadership the company grew rapidly and was acquired by a private equity group in 2014. His commitment to education and dedication to excellence in prehospital medicine led him to reacquire the organization in 2016. In the past 4 years Brad and his team have grown the company’s student base and is recognized as one of the premier prehospital training institutions in the United States.
He has presented in a multitude of national and international high-profile conferences, sharing his expertise in business, firefighting, as well as prehospital and disaster medicine.
Brad is a graduate of Harvard University’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health’s Division of Policy Translation and Leadership Development and the Harvard Kennedy School’s Center for Public Leadership’s- National Preparedness Leadership Initiative- Executive Education Program.
He obtained a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Anna Maria College (AMC) and a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science from AMC as well.
