JOIN THE EVENT BEMC 2021
Under the patronage of HRH Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince & the Prime Minster of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the second edition of Bahrain Emergency Medicine Conference 2021 (BEMC21) will be organized by Bahrain Medical Society (BMS) and Bahrain Association of Emergency Medicine (BAEM) from 25th to 27th November 2021.
This conference will be comprehensively organized to capture the excellent innovation in Emergency Medicine. The vision of BEMC is to develop and maintain high standards of emergency medicine practice in the kingdom of Bahrain as well as to function as the networking body connecting all emergency medicine providers practicing in different emergency departments across the kingdom.

Dr Jehad BinRajab, is an Emergency Medicine Consultant in Salmaniya Medical Complex in the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He’s been a consultant since 2018. He is a part time faculty in the Arabian Gulf University (AGU) since 2018. He is a board of accident and emergency department in Salmaniya Medical Complex.
He studied medicine in MS Ramaya Medical College, Bangalore University – India. He received MBBS Degree in 1995. He then got certified in the Arab Board Emergency Medicine in December 2010. Afterwards, in 2016 he received a fellowship in Emergency Medicine from King Fahad Specialist Hospital in Damam- Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He attended a course in master of disaster in medicine in Italy in 2006. He attended and participated in several workshops and conferences related to his emergency specialty since 2000. In addition, he was a deputy of chief medical officer for Bahrain Haj mission from 2005 – 2009. He was a member of Formula 1 team in Bahrain from 2004- 2009. Furthermore, he participated in several committees.

Dr. Alghanem is the President of Bahrain Association of Emergency Medicine (BAEM). He is a Consultant in Emergency Medicine and deputy director of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Hospital in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He is the Program director of the Emergency Medicine Residency Program in the BDF Hospital, which is affiliated with the Saudi Emergency Medicine Residency Program and the Saudi Commission for health specialties.
Dr. Alghanem is a board member in the Crown Prince Center for Training and Medical Education, and the chairman and member of several committees and projects, including Trauma Committee, Disaster Committee, Trauma education and research committee, ED improvement committee and National healthcare committees.

DR Amjad Obeid is Emergency Medicine Board Certified since 2008 with Experience in Emergency Medicine for more than 25 years . Holding Master degree in Disaster Medicine (EMDM -Italy ) and Master of Business Administration from ESSEC university in France .
Currently working as Consultant Adult Emergency Medicine & Head of Disaster and Emergency preparedness Committee in Royal Commission Hospital (RCH) in Jubail.
Dr. Obeid is the Chief Medical officer of Bahrain Motor Federation responsible for Bahrain Grand Prix Race ( F1 ) and all the FIA car racing since 2006. He is a member of the FIA medical Commission since 2008 . Dr Obeid was nominated to be the Chief medical officer (CMO) for India Grand Prix for 2011 2012 and was nominated to train and to be the Chief Medical Officer of Baku . In addition to that Dr Obeid was also the nominated to be the CMO for Addriyah Formula E in Riyadh in 2018 -2020.
Dr. Obeid has good experience in Road Safety and Injury Prevention and worked as WHO focal point for seven years and was the National data co-ordinator for the three global reports on Road Safety published by WHO.
Dr Obeid and is a senior instructor certified by American Heart Association for BLS,ACLS , PALS & PEARS & a certified instructor by the American College of Surgeon for PHTLS & ATL S and Currently is one of the teaching faculty of the Saudi Board Residency Program ( SBEM) in the Royal Commission Hospital in Jubail. – KSA .

Dr Naser Mansoor is a specialist in emergency medicine working in the emergency department of Salmanyia medical Complex in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He is double board certified in emergency medicine from the Arab Board Of Medical Specialties as well as the European Board Of Emergency Medicine. In addition to his clinical and teaching work he has a special interest in Motorsports medicine and Disaster Medicine. He maintains the position of Deputy Chief Medical Officer for the Bahrain Grand Prix and has been involved in training of international medical teams for the FIA. He has held the position of the focal point for the WHO for disaster preparedness from 2012 until 2017, during which he has been involved in evaluation of disaster preparedness for the member countries of WHO. He also holds the post of training lead for the EM residency program in Salmanyia Medical Complex. Currently he has been elected as the general secretary for the Bahrain Association of Emergency Medicine for the session of 2018-22.
