Dr. Thamir Aljunaid
Dr. Thamir Al Junaid is an EMS & Emergency Medicine Consultant at King Fahd Hospital of the University. He is the regional emergency Medicine Residency training program director for the eastern province & Bahrain.
Dr. Thamir established the Emergency Medical Services unit at King Fahd hospital of the university. He is the founder of EM today SA symposium and blog and the co-founder and medical director for the emergency medical care program for paramedic sciences at Imam AbdulRahman Bin Faisal University.
He is a member of many national & international societies and councils including the national association for EMS physicians, the Saudi Arabian society of Emergency Medicine and the Saudi emergency medicine scientific council.
Dr. Al Junaid has an academic interest in out-of-hospital clinical care, program implementation and policy development in which he has published. He is also interested in Hajj medicine and volunteer to do clinical work during hajj season on regular basics.
Finally, Dr. Thamir is a loving husband, a caring father of 5, enjoys scuba diving, conquered spartan races on 3 different occasions and he is a huge fan of Al-Etihad Saudi football club.
